Westport is a beautiful picturesque town on the west coast of Ireland.
It’s nestled between the Atlantic and Croagh Patrick so the surrounding scenery is stunning. Not only that, but it has a host of quaint pubs where traditional Irish, Jazz and soft rock music is played on a nightly basis. Outside the town, the greater Clew Bay area, from Achill Island to the north, to Louisburgh on the southern shore, offers breathtaking vistas. Westport offers a myriad of activities, including; cycling on Ireland’s first Greenway, Mountain Climbing, Hiking, Adventure Centres (for adults and Kids!!), many historical attractions and some of the best retreats in the country. The Accommodation and the food is renowned nationally and across Europe as being some of the best in the world. The beautiful beaches of Bertra and Old Head are just a short drive away.
