18 stunning local routes, ranging in distance from 10km to 96km. The routes have been developed by local cycling enthusiasts and are often used as training routes for Westport adventure races including; the Gran fondo, Westport Sea2Summit, Westportif and Gaelforce West. Drenched in stunning rugged scenery and idyllic villages, these routes reveal an honest, natural, beauty and truly are, hidden gems.
SLí Naisiunta Chosta
Sli Naisiunta Chosta (National Coastal walk) is a 9km cycle or walking route, which connects Westport town centre to Westport Quays and then onto Murrisk. This route boasts quaint pubs breathtaking views along the coastline, before finishing up at the foot of Croagh Patrick himself! The cycle is low gradient and accessible to all levels abilities.
